Game Description: The 80’s video game Zelda was first published in 1986 by Nintendo. The gameplay contains a mixture of action, adventure, role-playing, and puzzles. The Legend of Zelda games feature a boy named Link.

Donkey Kong

Game Description: Donkey Kong arcade game was released in 1981. Winning the game requires patience and the ability to time Jumpman’s ascent. Goal is to save the Lady/Pauline. The game is made of four different stages.

Pacman

Game Description: Pac-Man is heralded as a landmark in video game history, and is among the most famous arcade games of all time. The player maneuvers Pac-Man to navigate a maze while eating small dots and other items.

Space Invaders

Game Description: Player controls the laser cannon across the bottom of the screen. Rows of video aliens march back and forth across the screen, slowly advancing on you shooting. If the space invaders land-Game Over!

Tetris

Game Description: Invented in the 80’s, the Tetris arcade game is one of the most popular games ever! The game first became widely popular in 1989 when Nintendo released Tetris on its Game Boy system.

Duck Hunt

Game Description: Duck Hunt was originally released as an arcade game in 1984. It was one of two games that came with the original 80’s Nintendo System. Player must shoot down the ducks in mid-flight.

Frog-It

Game Description: Based on Frogger the 1981 arcade game by Sega, and developed by Konami. The game is a classic and was very popular for its original gameplay and theme.Get to the other side of the road,then the river!

Asteroids

Game Description: Asteroids Game:Controls consist of thrust and fire buttons,rotate left/rotate right buttons. There is also a hyperspace button, which randomly teleports the ship somewhere on the screen. Classic 80’s!

Pong

Game Description: The video game Pong was created by Atari, based on the sport of table tennis or ping pong. A small square representing the ball moves across the screen. Players move paddles to defend their side. 80s

Moon Patrol

Game Description: In the classic 80’s arcade game Moon Patrol you drive a moon buggy. Jump over craters, rocks and land mines, shooting at rocks in front of you and wierd aliens above you while dodging their missiles.

Star Castle
